Hi and thank you for visiting! This is my 13th year of teaching and my 11th year at Woodinville High School. This year I am teaching Spanish 300.
I attended Louisiana State University until 2000 and I graduated from Washington State University in 2002 with a BA in Foreign Languages and Literature (with an emphasis in Spanish) and in 2005 I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with my MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching). During the 2011-2012 school year I completed my Administrative certification at Seattle Pacific University..
I am married to my husband Chris. We have one son, Wyatt who is a second grader at Woodin Elementary School. We also have a dog, Cisco (Yorkshire Terrier) and live in Woodinville. I lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for most of my life. I moved to Washington State in 2001. I have traveled to many different countries for ongoing studies and for family vacations.
Outside of school I enjoy teaching group fitness classes at Gold’s gyms of WA, long distance running, stand up paddleboarding, cycling and hiking with my family.
I’m looking forward to another great year in the Northshore School District. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
